A water park, where you can get in touch with water and nature.
This spacious park is characterized by its contact with nature. It is located near the center of town and a short walk from Mashu Onsen, a roadside station. There are always people walking along the walking paths, observing wild birds, and children playing by the water, creating a warm atmosphere that shows that the park is loved by the local people. In 2009, a new "toddler square" was established, attracting many parents and children.
A large river runs through the park, and a wooden waterwheel spins slowly. The waterwheel is used to generate electricity, which is used to power the control sluice gate and some of the lighting.
Many waterfowl can be seen on the river, and in winter, many swans can be seen resting on their wings. Bird-watching huts have been built along the water's edge, so you can watch the birds closely.
The sounds of seasonal birdsong, murmuring water, and wind rustling through the trees are very pleasant, making this park a great place to visit when you want to relax in the midst of nature.
