A park with a campground where you can also enjoy walking in the forest

The park is located on a small hill near the city center. The park has a large grassy plaza, and a cooking building with BBQ stove next to the park is crowded with people enjoying barbeques on weekends. The park is also home to a forest where wild birds live, and visitors can enjoy a full-scale stroll while taking a forest bath. As the park is called "Sakuragaoka Forest Park," the cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in fall are especially beautiful. In winter, a cross-country course has been created, allowing visitors to experience the beauty of each of the four seasons.

In recent years, toilets have been changed to heated toilet seats, clean cooking facilities have been handmade, and a comfortable space has been maintained. Local people often visit here for a stroll, so you may even make friends!　Nearby, there is a roadside station with a direct sales shop and bathing facilities, as well as a walking trail where you can observe wild birds. Why not enjoy a "sampo café" with a cup of coffee in your hand?　Although the area is famous for cherry blossoms, it is also open in winter, so camping in the snow is also possible.
