2. Akan Town Natural Recreation Village Campsite (Kushiro City)

This campsite is located in an area where tourist facilities such as roadside stations are gathered. There are athletic facilities and a railway museum, and day-trip barbecues are also possible. The adjacent 36-hole park golf course is also popular. 3. Otobetsu Town Ikoi no Mori Campground & Fureai no Mori (Kushiro City)

A fully equipped campground surrounded by forest, famous for its cherry blossoms in spring. Equipped with bungalows and a barbecue area, you can spend a quiet and relaxing time surrounded by abundant nature. This campsite is located on the shore of Lake Takkobu, a small remnant sea lake with a circumference of 5km. It is a great spot for exploring the marshland, where you can observe the marshland's flora and fauna, wild birds such as kingfishers, white-tailed eagles, and grey herons, and in the summer you can even see fireflies. You can also enjoy activities such as walking along the boardwalk around the lakeside, hiking to Yumegaoka Observatory, and canoeing on the lake.

5. RECAMP Sand Bath <Sand Bath Campsite> (Teshikaga Town)

The Sunayu area on the shores of Lake Kussharo is a spot where you can dig a hole in the sand and instantly turn it into an open-air bath. This is the only place where you can camp while soaking in your own hot spring. The appeal of Tsuru no Sato Camp Field is its vast lawn, about the size of five soccer fields, and its convenient transportation.
