Pasikulu Nature Park
Overview
Pasikulu Swamp is located on the border between Shiranuka Town and Ondobetsu Town, Kushiro City. It is a rare swamp where the water of the Pasikulu River naturally flows into the Pacific Ocean when the river is full due to rough seas at its mouth. Visitors can enjoy clamming in summer and wakasagi fishing in winter.
Vehicles are not allowed in Pasikulu Swamp. Please watch your step during the winter months.
