Former Machimura Farm in Ebetsu City
Mr. Keiki Machimura, a pioneer of Hokkaido dairy farming, moved his farm from Ishikari-gun (Ishikari City) to the present location. The building is now open to the public as a museum.
The building is a "King-style cowshed" built in the early Showa period and exhibits materials related to dairy farming such as Mr. Machimura's documents and farming equipment of the time.
*In November 2007, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry recognized the building as a "Heritage of Industrial Modernization for Regional Revitalization".
