Kitahiroshima Recreation Forest
This is a large park made use of natural forest. In addition to athletic facilities, there are cooking facilities and a training building.
Kitahiroshima Recreation Forest (commonly known as "Rec Forest") is a part of a state-owned forest leased from the Forestry Agency, and facilities have been developed since 1980. The forest utilizes the natural environment, including dense trees and deep streams, as much as possible in its original form, and has paths, plazas, and an administration building. The forest school within the Recreation Forest has a "training building," "plaza," and "fire place," which can be used by families, groups, and clubs. (Reservations are required for use of the training building and furnace hall.)
In addition, the Adventure Forest has a 10-point field athletic course that takes advantage of the undulating terrain.
