The Furusato no Oka direct sales center, which started as the Roadside Station Rankoshi-Furusato no Oka in October 2003, is crowded with visitors from traffic. The roadside station sells locally grown rice and vegetables, and the ice cream made at the adjacent ice cream factory is a popular boast among customers. There is also a campground with a tent area and bungalows behind the roadside station.
