The 129 km long Shiribetsu River originates in the mountains west of Lake Shikotsu, bypasses the foothills of Mount Yotei and Niseko Annupuri, and flows into the Japan Sea at Ranetsu-cho. The Shiribetsu River is so beautiful that it has been recognized as the "clearest river in Japan" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism 16 times in total for seven consecutive years since 2011.

Surrounded by a beautiful natural environment, Shiribetsu River Run Run Park is an open park on the riverbed. The park is surrounded by vast green areas and flower beds, and visitors can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. Especially during the cherry blossom season, the park is decorated with rows of cherry trees in full bloom.
