SPOT
Tokachi Nupuku Garden
Tokachi Nupuku Garden is a large handmade garden of about 4 hectares. There are Japanese-style gardens, Western-style gardens, and natural forests on the grounds, and if you are lucky, you may see cute squirrels.
Visitors can enjoy horseback riding, feeding rainbow trout, and petting ponies and rabbits at the petting area. The spring-fed river plays pleasant sounds, and rainbow trout and Nishikigoi swim peacefully in the pond. Above the waterfall is an observatory from which you can look out over a wide area of the garden.
