Kofuku Station
Kofuku Station is one of Obihiro's premier tourist attractions. Aikoku Station and Kofuku Station became famous for the catchphrase 'From the Land of Love to Happiness.'
At the time, the two stations were connected by the former JNR Hiroo Line, and due to their auspicious names, the 'Bound for Kofuku (Happiness)' tickets are still very popular as passports to happiness. The sound of the 'Bell of Happiness' rings out.
At this station, which seems to bring happiness just by visiting, two diesel cars that were in service until the line was discontinued, the platform, and the station building have been preserved, and it is now popular as a 'Railway Park.' From late April to late November, the 'Kofuku Station Happy Ceremony' is also held, where visitors can experience a mock wedding ceremony.
