Kofuku Station is Obihiro's number one tourist attraction. Aikoku Station and Kofuku Station became famous for the catchphrase "From the Country of Love to Happiness". At the time, the two stations were connected by the former JNR Hiroo Line, and due to the auspicious name, the "Kofuku-yuki" ticket is still very popular as a passport to happiness. The sound of the "Kofuku no Kane" (Bell of Happiness) rings out.

Just visiting this station, which is sure to make you happy, preserves the two diesel cars that were in operation until the line was closed, the platform, and the station building, and is now loved as a "railroad park." From the end of April to the end of November, the station also hosts the "Happy Station Happy Ceremony," where you can experience a mock wedding ceremony.
