SPOT
Manabe Garden
Manabe Garden, which has been open to the public since 1966 and covers an area of 25,000 tsubo, is a circuit-style garden composed of three themed gardens.
It is also a botanical garden, like a showroom, where you can see how each of the several thousand plant varieties, collected from all over the world for over 60 years, grows.
It also features a cafe terrace where wild birds and Ezo squirrels visit and you can spend a relaxing time, as well as a garden center where you can purchase the latest horticultural varieties and rare plants.
Please forget the hustle and bustle of the city and your daily life, and slowly enjoy the unique atmosphere described as 'Is this really Japan?', 'An illusion of having wandered into a fairy tale land,' and 'Forest bathing in a light blue forest of trees'.
