Overview
You can luxuriously enjoy the moor hot spring, which has been selected as a Hokkaido Heritage site, with all baths free-flowing directly from the source. This is something unique to Shihoro, which has an abundant supply of hot spring water.
In a natural setting surrounded by the deep forests of Shimooribe, the hot spring has earned a high reputation for its thick-textured water that leaves the skin feeling moist and smooth. The facilities are also extensive, including a spacious large public bath, a jacuzzi, and a lie-down bath. In the rock-made open-air bath, you can enjoy bathing at night while viewing a sky full of stars.
There is also a small bath equipped with a lift, allowing people with disabilities and the elderly to enjoy it without hesitation. Such consideration is a testament to why it is loved by local townspeople and repeat visitors. The Japanese and Western-style guest rooms, including barrier-free and maisonette types, are like small hideaways and further enhance the enjoyment of your trip.
The Japanese kaiseki cuisine, made with an abundance of local ingredients, is truly a 'feast' of Tokachi. It is sure to satisfy both your heart and your stomach.
