Campground attached to Kamishihoro Aviation Park

This campground is located 2 km from the city center, next to the Otogawa River. The aviation park has a 36-hole park golf course (free of charge) and a spacious lawn area, where you can play to your heart's content.
The city has bathing facilities, so you can camp in comfort, and the campground is popular during the Balloon Festival held in early August and during the Bon Festival, when it is crowded.

The campground is a free site, and no advance phone reservations are required for individual use, but it is expected to be quite crowded on weekends from Friday to Sunday and during consecutive holidays.
The campground reception hut is usually unmanned. The manager visits each tent in the evening every day to fill out the registration form and receive the fee. (During the Balloon Festival in August every year, a reception hut is opened in the campground, where registration and fees are collected.)
*No vehicles are allowed except in the parking lot, and pets are not allowed in the camp site (lawns and pathways).
