Naittai Kogen Ranch

The largest public ranch in Japan

The largest public ranch in Japan, with a total area of approximately 1,700 hectares (358 times the size of the Tokyo Dome), where you can see cattle grazing. It is a highland ranch full of nature where wild deer sometimes appear.

A World of Greenery
The vast carpet of green grass and clean air will completely heal you of your daily fatigue. The Nai Tai River is called "Nai Etaie Phet" in Ainu language, which means "deep stream.

This is a ranch where cattle are raised.
Kogen Ranch was completed in 1972 as a national project, and is currently operated by Kamishihoro Town. The farm specializes in breeding cows for entrustment. In summer, the cows are pastured in a large grassland, and in winter, they are kept in seven barns.
