The campground is located near the hidden hot spring "Kanno Onsen" and facilities are minimal. There is a popular natural open-air bath "Shika-no-yu" in the campground, which is free of charge. There are several natural hot springs in Shikaribetsu Gorge, but this "Shika-no-yu" is by far the most popular. The popularity of the inexpensive campsites also plays a role in the popularity of Shika-no-yu.
