Honbetsu-cho History and Folklore Museum
This museum tells the history of Honbetsu-cho. The museum exhibits materials related to the development of Honbetsu Town and the Tokachi Branch of the Gunma Replenishment Department, which was located in Semmisato, Honbetsu-cho at the time of the Pacific War. The museum also exhibits the mane and amulet of his beloved horse "Uranus," which is said to have been worn by Nishi when he was killed in action on Iwo Jima.
