Moseushi Town Local Museum
The Moseushi Town Local History Museum is a thing that was built as a village office in Shōwa 6 (1931). The structure that made the office and the assembly hall symmetrical has been receiving high evaluation as a building that adopted the flow of French-style design of the Meiji period, and it is a thing that was restored to the appearance of the time of construction, taking the opportunity of the completion of the new government building in Shōwa 60 (1985). In the interior, approximately 600 valuable materials amounting to up to the present from the pioneering period are being preserved and exhibited.
Moseushi Town, where the pioneering hoe was put in in Meiji 26 (1893), welcomed its 100th year of founding in Heisei 4 (1992), and now is beginning to walk a new journey. By the blood-oozing-like efforts and indomitable pioneer spirit of many predecessors, it is a thing that we wish that the history of our town Moseushi Town, which has achieved great development, will be carefully preserving, and as a guidepost to the future, and also as a place to foster hometown love, will be utilized for a long time.
