SPOT
Local History Museum Ikarin-kan
Kikonai-cho is located in the southwestern part of the Toshima Peninsula, one of Hokkaido's most historic areas.
In addition, traces of the lives of our ancestors can be seen throughout the town.
This museum exhibits the objects and records left behind by these people, with the hope that visitors will be inspired to think about the present and the future by seeing and touching them.
We can look back at the people who have lived here through the past and culture of our hometown, which are usually forgotten.
This will surely lead us to think about our "future.
Because the present is nothing but the accumulation of the past.
