STEP offers nature, agriculture, forestry, and fishing experiences utilizing the local resources of Southern Tokachi, with Taiki Town as the main field.
STEP offers a wide variety of experiences that will tickle children's curiosity and help them develop their imagination for life by going to the sites where "food" is nurtured in real nature and interacting with a variety of people.

Wood Life Camp (3 days/2 nights)
Wood" is all around us. Children will experience what role wood plays in their daily lives through building a wood house, making their own chopsticks, and taking a tour to trace wood biomass energy. Three days spent with trees. The three days spent with trees will nurture an affinity for trees and nature, as well as a desire to cherish them.

Dairy Farming Experience
Dairy farming is flourishing in Taiki Town. This program will give you an opportunity to learn about the history of dairy farming, how cows are raised, and how dairy products are processed...you will be able to experience Tokachi's dairy farming on site.
Through work experience with dairy farmers and a tour of a processing plant, children will learn about the importance of life and the appeal of Tokachi's dairy farming.
