Shikabe Geyser Park Roadside Station - Footbath
The roadside station, which opened in 2016, is a complex where you can enjoy the attractions of Shikabe Town's specialties, seafood and hot springs. It is equipped with the Geyser Park, where you can enjoy the spectacular geysers and foot baths, and the Shikabe Food and Delicious Food Museum, where you can enjoy Shikabe cuisine. Since its opening, it has been visited by many people for leisure and sightseeing.
At the "Kanabe Food and Delicious Food Museum," you can taste the best of Kababe's cuisine and its rich and delicious local specialties on the spot! There are also plenty of programs where you can experience the historic food culture. You can enjoy the gourmet food of Kababe while relaxing.
At Geyser Park, you can see a rare natural geyser, even in Japan. The water gushes out from a height of about 15 meters! The water temperature is 103 degrees! You can see a breathtaking miracle show. On November 1, 2018, Shikabe Geyser was designated as a Hokkaido Heritage Site. Please enjoy this spectacular sight while relaxing in a foot bath to soothe your travel fatigue.
