SPOT
Furusato Rekishi Kan Nenrin
This facility was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the town of Memuro, and preserves and exhibits the wisdom of our ancestors and their precious cultural heritage. It aims to pass on to the next generation the important wisdom of daily life that is being forgotten with the changing times.
The museum exhibits many tools and folk tools closely related to daily life, and visitors can also learn about the wisdom of our ancestors in a new style through hands-on experiences at the information station and the "Kando Kobo" or computer-based learning at the study station.
