Summer invites a cool sensation, autumn adorns with autumn leaves, Mount Odaishi (Odaishiyama) where scenic natural trees grow thickly. At its foothills, Kuriyama Park, which has an area of as much as 24ha, spreads out, and facilities such as SL Plaza, "Nakayoshi Zoo" where admission is free, a campsite, a barbecue corner, a hiking course, a baseball field, and tennis courts are maintained. It is located along National Route 234, and nearby there are also restaurants and convenience stores, and it is popular as a place of relaxation where families can spend time.

In early May, approximately 300 cherry trees along the park's cherry tree-lined path bloom all at once, and it becomes bustling with many tourists. The cherry tree-lined path of the central path becomes just like a "cherry blossom tunnel."
