The "Taramaru-kan" is a tourist information center that provides travel recommendations, road information, and product information.
It also functions as the "Iwanai i (Information) Center" of the "Shiribeshi i (Information) Center".
Every year, more than 100,000 tourists come to the center to gather tourist information.
A small selection of souvenirs is also available for purchase.
