This museum exhibits the photographs of the late Takeo Shimizu, a leading aerial photographer.
Mr. Shimizu is active mainly in Hokkaido, and has taken photographs overseas, including in South America.
The museum is located in Ashibetsu City, the center of Hokkaido, adjacent to Biei, Furano, and Asahikawa.
The museum exhibits about 1,000 aerial photographs mainly taken with reversal film.
