In Iwamizawa, a region with heavy snowfall, the winery produces wine with a unique flavor that is protected by snow in winter and grows by soaking up its melt water in spring.
The brewery is open for tours and has a gallery space on the second floor, where artwork and other exhibits that depict the brewing process are on display.
The brewery also sells its own wines, and the "RICCA Snow Genealogy" series, which uses 100% of the company's own grapes, is particularly popular.
Right next door is a seasonal soft-serve ice cream store (Via Gresto), where the soft-serve ice cream with original sauce made from the company's own grapes is very popular every year.
