SPOT
This gazebo is wheelchair-accessible to the top level (8.7 m high) amidst a natural grove of trees, and was designed and maintained from a universal design perspective to facilitate use by the elderly and physically challenged. The top observation deck is 142.6 meters above sea level, and offers a panoramic view of the park's rose garden, the Rose Park park golf course, the city of Sapporo (Sapporo Dome) and the Ishikari Plain in the distance, and even the mountains of Teine on a clear day.
