SPOT
Beach Yūchi Observation Rest Facility (Spatterdock's House)
It is a rest facility existing within Rishiri Rebun Sarobetsu National Park. From the rooftop, it is an excellent viewpoint where Rishiri Fuji (Mt. Rishiri) towering beyond the Sea of Japan and beautiful sunsets can be seen.
From early summer to summer, in addition to flowers resembling water lilies called "Kōhone" blooming, native flowers including Japanese roses and Ezo Daylilies also bloom in profusion around the marsh. Next to the rest facility, a poetry monument of actor Mr. Hisaya Morishige, who visited this place for the location shooting of a TV drama, is also standing.
