Tokachi Pasture
Overview
A spacious pasture with an area of 4,092 hectares located on the outskirts of Otogi Town. Many domestic animals such as horses (Dosanko), sheep, and cattle are raised here. The view from the observatory in the ranch offers a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of Tokachi and is very impressive.
[Horse Chase Exercise]
As part of horse health management, Tokachi Pasture conducts exercise in the snow during the winter, and is open to the public from mid-January to the end of February. (Directions/approx. 35 min. drive from Tokachigawa Onsen to Kaoi Town via downtown Otogi)
