This is an all-weather multi-purpose dirt floor gymnasium attached to the Atsuma Sports Center. Together with the adjacent baseball field and outdoor tennis courts, it is widely known as a multipurpose sports facility. The dome, which is unaffected by weather, is ideal for training camps and other events.

The Atuma Star Dome is one of the largest all-weather multi-purpose dirt floor gymnasiums in Hokkaido (the arena section is made of sand-filled artificial turf).
Tennis, soccer, baseball, gateball, and other sports can be practiced indoors regardless of the season.
It is also equipped with a training room, judo hall, kendo hall, and kyudo hall.
