Kyowa Dam
Overview
This is an agricultural dam on the Riyamunai River, a tributary of the Horikura River that flows through Kyowa Town. It is classified as a "rock-fill dam" with an embankment made of rocks and gravel, and supplies water to farmland in the town. An information board has been installed near the administration building, and, unusually for a dam, there is a view of the ocean. The top of the dam is off-limits.
