To protect the local environment, the Nuclear Environmental Center conducts environmental radiation monitoring, environmental monitoring of thermal drainage impact studies, and agricultural and fisheries testing and research that contribute to local industry.
It also conducts public relations activities and other exhibits related to nuclear power generation.
