Dharma Wheel Temple
Overview
It is a Sōtō sect's temple built in Bunkyu 2nd year (1862 year), and conveys herring fishing heyday's prosperity to the present day, and is supporting fishermen's hearts.
In its coffered ceiling's each and every one, pictures, each different, such as flowers, birds, landscapes, figures, and twelve zodiac signs, etc., are drawn.
It is said that a traveler who stopped by in Meiji's middle, spending many days, drew the thing.
If looking up, neck becomes painful, but spending time, please slowly view respectfully.
