It is a park on vast grounds of just under 200,000 m2, spreading on a high ground overlooking the Sea of Japan. On the horizon, islands floating in the Sea of Japan (Rishiri Island, Teuri Island, Yagishiri Island) can be seen. Also, it has a campsite and auto-campsite where green lawns spread, and bungalows and car sites are maintained. The campsite has no need for reservations, and all within the sections can be used for free. Bungalows and the auto-campsite require reservations, and fees differ at each campsite. There is also a service called "Tebura de Camp" which performs rental of a complete set of camping equipment, so even from distant places, you can easily come to do camping. In addition to that, starting with a swimming beach, a park golf course, a go-kart track with a total length of 1,200m, a hot spring accommodation facility "Shosanbetsu Onsen Hotel Misaki no Yu," etc. are also within the park, and the entire park is registered as "Roadside Station ☆ Roman Road Shosanbetsu."
