A park where approximately 650 Ezo mountain cherry trees bloom on a mountainside of about 30,000 square meters. Many cherry trees also bloom at the adjacent shrine, and the entire mountain is covered with Ezo mountain cherry trees, making it a famous spot for cherry blossoms.

Located about a 20-minute drive from the city center, the row of approximately 650 cherry trees, including Ezo mountain cherry, double-flowered cherry, and Somei Yoshino, is the best cherry blossom spot in Kitami City.

On the grounds of Kotohira Shrine at the mountaintop, a festival is held during the cherry blossom season with stalls, karaoke, and children's game competitions, attracting many people for family fun. *Please note that event dates may change depending on the cherry blossom blooming status.
