SPOT
Heiwaen Main Restaurant
Heiwaen is a long-established yakiniku restaurant established in 1959. Heiwaen is one of Japan's pioneers in the field of yakiniku-style Genghis Khan, and even today, as in those days, the restaurant purchases high-quality mutton carcasses and cuts each piece by hand.
The restaurant also offers a wide selection of locally produced meats, especially minos, sagari, and tongue, which are fresh and of high quality as only the meat kingdom of Tokachi can offer.
The prices are surprisingly reasonable, which explains why the restaurant has long been a local favorite.
