Red Brick Government Building (Hokkaido Government Former Main Government Building)
In July 2025, Sapporo's symbol, the "Red Brick Government Building," will undergo renewal. In addition to exhibitions where history and Ainu culture can be learned, there will also be ISHIYA's new shop and restaurant, and experience-based exhibitions that transmit the charm of various places within Hokkaido. The highlight is the viewing of the "Octagonal Tower," which can be called the building's symbol. It is a new tourism hub that connects Hokkaido's past and future.
