Pristine Flower Garden Iris Field
Overview
The Primeval Flower Garden Ayamegahara is on the way of Prefectural Road No. 123, which passes from Kushiro City via Akkeshi Town to Kiritappu, Hamanaka Town, and also has become one of the scenic spots of the North Pacific Seaside Line "Cape and Flowers Foggy Road".
It is located at an elevation of 100m, and is a vast primeval flower garden of approximately 100ha in size, with a walking path in the center, where you can appreciate over 100 types of plants, including approximately 300,000 Iris setosa, as well as Platanthera hologlottis and buttercups. The collaboration there of pastured horses and the eternally continuing horizon is a spectacular view.
※Annually, horses are pastured from June to October, but due to construction inside the garden in Reiwa 6 and 7 fiscal years, horse pasturing will not be carried out.
