Iyame-ga-hara is located on Route 123, which runs from Kushiro City to Kiritappu, Hamanaka Town via Akkeshi Town, and is one of the scenic spots on the North Pacific Seaside Line "Cape and Flower Fog Road".

Located at an elevation of 100 m, it is a vast 100 hectares in size, with a walking trail in the center where visitors can admire more than 100 species of plants, including approximately 300,000 fire bellflowers, as well as other species such as the Chinese lanternflower and buttercup. The collaboration between the grazing horses there and the everlasting horizon is a spectacular sight.
