Neipal Atsugishi
Neipal Atsugishi was established in 1993 with the aim of promoting the sound development of youth in a rich natural environment.
It is located within the Atsukishi Kiritabu-Konbu National Park, and nearby is Cape Aikan, which offers a magnificent view of the coastline, and in the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the facility, is Daikoku Island, which is designated a national natural treasure as a breeding ground for seabirds such as white-bellied petrels and great grey gulls, and the coastal area is home to harbor seals and sea otters. Many people use the facility for school overnight training, communication activities, nature experience activities, and other activities sponsored by the facility.
The word "nature" was coined by combining the words "nature" and "pal pal. The name "Neipal" was coined by combining "nature" and "pal pal", which means "friends" or "nature".
