Neipal Akkeshi
Neipar Akkeshi was established in Heisei 5 (1993) for the purpose of aiming for the healthy development of youth within a rich natural environment.
It is located within Akkeshi Kirittapu Konbumori Quasi-National Park, and nearby there is Aikap Cape from which one can view the magnificent coastline, and also in the Pacific Ocean viewed from the facility, there is "Daikokujima" which receives designation as a national natural monument as a seabird breeding ground for such as Leach's Storm-petrel and Slaty-backed Gull, and in the coastal area, Harbor Seals and sea otters inhabit.
It is used by many people in such as overnight training conducted by schools and communication activities and nature experience activities sponsored by the facility.
The coined word that combined "Nature = nature ネイチャー" and "Companion = pal パル" is "Neipar".
Thoughts are put into becoming familiar with great nature and doing activities freely with companions, and towards becoming a facility loved by Hokkaido residents, and there are 6 locations within Hokkaido including Akkeshi.
