SPOT
It is a park maintained near the summit of Monbetsu-yama (commonly known as Ōyama), at an altitude of 334m, and is the most scenic spot in Monbetsu where you can overlook the townscape of Monbetsu and the Sea of Okhotsk.
In addition to being able to climb even by car, there are also promenades where you can enjoy birdwatching, forest bathing, plant observation, and so on. Inside the park, there are also cottages, and by utilizing the weekend, you can fully enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.
