Our museum opened as "Tomakomai City Museum" in Showa 60 year. In Heisei 25 year July, an art museum department concurrently established, and as "Tomakomai City Art Museum and Museum" was renewed.
Natural history, archaeology, Ainu, folklore and history, art regarding materials collecting, and natural history and science and art of complex facility that is called feature utilized special exhibitions etc. are carrying out.
