Longevity Spring Water

Overview

It is said that when the Edo period explorer Rinzo Mamiya visited Rishiri Island, he drank this spring water and named it "Chouju no Sensui" (Longevity Spring Water). The water used to be used by the people who lived on the property where the water gushed out, but it was opened to the public so that islanders and tourists could drink it as well.
