Travelers and townspeople come and go

A guesthouse opened in the center of Tsubetsu Town on March 13, 2020. The building was renovated over a period of about six months with a total of 500 people. Inside the building are the works of illustrator and plastic artist Shigenari Onishi of Tsubetsu-cho. It is also an art museum where visitors can stay overnight and experience art in a casual manner.
The word "Nammo" means "no big deal" in the Hokkaido dialect. It is a word that has been familiar to the carefree people of Hokkaidō since long ago. With the motto "to be the entrance to this town," the slightly meddlesome staff members are the concierge between you and the town in this space where travelers and townspeople alike come and go. Even when you ask them for help, they readily reply, "Nammo, nammo. Nanmo Nanmo is a slightly meddlesome inn where travel and the town mix.
