Showa Shinzan was formed when wheat fields were uplifted by an eruption in 1943. 60 years later, visitors can still feel the energy of the earth. Around the parking lot, there are many sightseeing facilities, restaurants, and souvenir stores, including a bear farm, the Usu Ropeway, and the Masao Mimatsu Memorial Museum.
