Overview

From National Route 235, towards the mountainous region, heading, approximately 8 km's route, ranches are lined up. From the parking park existing at the entrance, Thoroughbred Ginza can be viewed at a glance, and a horse-designed symbol monument, and gazebos, horseshoe-shaped benches, drinking fountains, etc., are maintained. What can be seen from that parking park is, the Niikappu Mud Volcano. This mud volcano, due to the influence of petroleum existing underground, is a thing that can be formed by mud in the earth erupting together with gas, and it is rare even domestically, and has received the designation of Hokkaido's natural monument.
