SPOT
Thoroughbred Ginza
A series of ranches line the 8-km route from Route 235 to the mountains. From the parking park at the entrance, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Thoroughbred Ginza, where a symbolic monument with a horse design, an Azumaya, horseshoe-shaped benches, and a water fountain are located.
Visible from the parking park is the Shinkan Mud Volcano. This mud volcano, which is formed when mud under the ground erupts along with gas due to the influence of underground oil, is rare in Japan and is designated as a natural monument of Hokkaido.
