Upopoi (Symbolic Space of Ethnic Symbiosis)
This national center serves as a base for the revival and development of Ainu culture, which is a valuable culture of our country but is in danger of extinction. Its main facilities include the National Museum of the Ainu People, the National Ethnic Symbiosis Park, and a memorial facility. Visitors can experience the diverse charms of Ainu culture on the banks of Lake Poroto, which is surrounded by rich nature.

Parking inside the park: Parking lot 1 for 246 regular vehicles: 500 yen per visit *Motorcycles: 10 free (if over 90 cm in width, they are treated as regular four-wheeled vehicles and charged 500 yen per visit)
Parking lot outside the park: Parking lot 2 for regular vehicles: 311 spaces, 500 yen per use; bicycle parking lot (bicycle); parking lot 1 for large buses: 50 spaces, 2,000 yen per day (microbuses, 1,000 yen); parking lot 2 for large buses: 38 spaces, 2,000 yen per day (microbuses, 1,000 yen)
