Shari-dake
One of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan
Rising between the Akan mountains and the Shiretoko mountain range, Shari-dake is one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan and a popular mountain for climbing at 1,547 meters above sea level.
There are three routes up the mountain, the most popular of which is from the Kiyosato-cho side of the mountain, passing Seigaku-so (Seigaku-so).
On a clear day, you can see beautiful views of Mount Shari on the way to Kiyosato from the Abashiri direction.
Since it is an independent mountain, it is easy to find.
The gradual increase in size as you approach Kiyosato will leave a lasting impression on anyone who sees it.
