Not far from downtown Esashi, this one-day hot spring is located in a quiet area surrounded by trees. In addition to an indoor bath, the facility has an open-air bath with a roof made entirely of hiba (cypress), and the area is filled with the pleasant aroma of the hiba combined with the fragrance of the hot water.
The water, which has a quality of "sodium-hydrogencarbonate-sulfate spring water" that is rare in southern Hokkaido, is slightly alkaline, rich in iron, and smooth and moist on the skin.
In the open-air space where you can feel the great outdoors, there are several benches for taking a rest, so you can relax and forget about the time, looking at the trees in the forest, listening to the birds chirping, while slowly cooling down your body after a long day.
