This rest house is named "Highland Koshimizu 725" because of its location at an elevation of 725 m, halfway up the eighth station of the 1000-meter-high Mt. Inside the building is a corridor-like observation deck with a snack corner, observation terrace, and store. There is a promenade in the immediate vicinity, offering a panoramic view of Lake Kussharo.
