The view from the summit of Mt. Mokoto, one of the top 100 natural wonders of Japan, is breathtakingly beautiful, as is the shape of the mountain. Lake Kussharo spreads out below.
The entire mountain, from the foot to the summit, is an outdoor field, rich in nature. The elevation is just 1,000 meters, so even children can easily enjoy climbing the mountain.
The water from Mt. Mokoto is called "Ginrei-sui," which is famous for its water quality, the best in Japan.
