A magnificent view like a pink velvet carpet
Located about 8km from Higashimokoto city towards Mt. Mokoto, Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park is a hillside that turns a vibrant pink in spring. The best time to see it is from mid-May to early June. When in full bloom, the vast 100,000 square meter slope is beautifully colored, like a velvet carpet. There are also many lively events, such as the Higashimokoto Shibazakura Festival, which is held every year from May 3rd to late May.
In addition, there is a 820-meter go-kart park, log playground equipment, a fishing pond filled with rainbow trout, and a campground complete with unique-looking bungalows, making it a fun spot for the whole family. *Pets are not allowed in the park.

Free site: Adults 400 yen / Elementary school students 200 yen *Half price for day trips
・Auto site: With power 3,000 yen / Without power 1,800 yen (plus 400 yen for junior high school students and above, 200 yen for elementary school students)
・Dream House: 5,000 yen
* Reservations are required for the Auto Site and Dream House (reservations open from June 1st)
